An express was received early this morning at the Duke of York's office, stating a melancholy catastrophe which has happened to the Hon. Colonel Finch.
We three weeks since noticed that three of the light companies of Foot Guards, marched by order of the Commander in Chief to Maidstone, from whence they went to Sittingbourn, and this week took the route from Canterbury to Barham Downs, where they were to be reviews as to-day, in presence of his Royal Highness Prince William of Gloucester, and General Sir Chares Grey. ...
